“Everybody experiences far more than he understands.
Yet it is experience, rather than understanding, that
influences behavior.”

  1. Just because we experience far more than we understand, it has a much greater impact on our behavior. “...love or madness is the behavior whereby …” daring, haunting! My behavior mainly being guided by instinct, intu├»tion, fascination, love of course and the unconscious fear of death.
Understanding happens in the conscious level – experience (and as a consequence behaviour) in four levels including the collective unconscious, an archetype being an ancient pattern of behavior. Understanding involves thinking , experience is “to be”? Some experiences move us so deeply, we can’t understand, it feels as if we recognize something hidden in our inner core, we become our experience. Then we feel whole, and loneliness and fear of death disappear.

“Never express yourself more clearly than you are able to think.” :-)
